I have been using the terrain editor alot on my server recently mainly to lay out roads! However I am concerned what happens to DB back ups as some told me these tend to get corrupted when using the terrain editor?

I am also very curious to know what happens when one uses the map refresh? Will it refresh to the map's original state before any map editing were done?

nothing happens to db backups

So after a map refresh all the editing done will be gone?

Also are wild animal spawning points affected by the terrain editor?

there is no difference between using terrain editor and terraforming in-game.
