How do you add a home based server to the list of servers??

If you have a dedicated, public IPv4 address on your home connection, you will be able to set up port forwarding for the database connection and use your home IP address in feudal.tools Server Manager. There are countless tutorials on YouTube about how to set up a port forwarding for all kinds of purposes. But many providers don't assign dedicated IPs to their customers anymore, so it won't work for everyone.

However, feudal.tools wasn't designed with support for home servers in mind, so I can't provide any help for such setups. Sorry.

sure, from the feudal.tools FAQ page:
I have rented a gameserver from a gameserver hosting company. Where do I find the database address and credentials?
You will find them in the config_local.cs file. It is located in the main directory of the gameserver.

What does "main directory of the gameserver" refer too? Is my computer the gameserver, and the main directory is that c:\ or where the game is installed?

No, as you have rented a gameserver they should've given you some kind of access to the servers filesystem.
Either by FTP credentials or through a filebrowser on their website´s customer panel.

This is a complete waste of time. The server you guys require people to use is using some company called Cpanel for its website/sql hosting. However nowhere after creating a database does it show any of the information your webpage says to get the info from. Such as there is no file called config_local.cs.

I use BlueFang Solutions as a host. They offer full DB and FTP acess as well as 20 gigs of ddos protection. Different hosting companies will offer different levels of acess, you just need to shop around to find the ones that fit your needs the best.
