I am sure it's not as simple as making a copy of the large compiled sql dso file.
I am sure it's not as hard as making a copy of everything in the root directory.
But what exactly do I need to make a copy of so I can have a backup of the server database in case I mess it up?
Re: A very noobish question - backing up database?
2Most gameserver companies have an option to backup your server on demand or even schedule regular backups in their Web UI.
If that's not the case you can use database management tools like HeidiSQL to connect to your database and pull the backup from there.
