animal spawn locations are generated randomly on every server start
there's an animal spawn patterns xml with a ruleset for the spawn locations that you might want to take a look at.
Log out and log back in while your Steam profile isn't 'private'. Your Steam account must be older than 1 year to get verified status.
You can set it back to private afterwards.
(This is to protect the system from resource abuse from mass-created new Steam accounts.)
if you rent a server from some gameserver hosting company, chances are that they rewrite the config_local.cs file on every server start as it includes their database connection info. in that case you can't modify the file.
If your server is in the public list, then your IP and port is public too.

Hiding the IP/port in the livemap won't give you any advantage.
